Description HESA (the Higher Education Statistics Agency) is the central agency responsible for collecting statistical data from all the UK Universities and other Higher Education Institutions. The results and aggregate data on students, institutions, and finances are distributed in both print and digital form. HESA also provides HEIDI - a web-based management information service that provides access to HESA's quantitative data about higher education on a range of topics: Ethnicity Entry qualifications Course results First destinations of graduates Disability Overseas students Regional issues Academic staff Non-credit-bearing courses The HEFCE site was retired in March 2018 and transferred to the National Web Archive. The Higher Education Business Community Interaction (HEBCI) statistics are now provided by HESA. University of Edinburgh staff can get a user account from the Governance and Strategic Planning Office. University of Edinburgh students may make an appointment with the Research Data Service to access the data.
