Projects

There are two main types of Project records in Pure. These are:

1. Externally funded Project records that are synchronised into Pure from People & Money

We are currently working on the integration between People & Money and Pure. The first deployment of the integration had issues with the records, where details were incorrect and multiple copies of the same Project were created. These incorrect records have been hidden from public view and will not be displayed on the Edinburgh Research Explorer.

We are working on fixing these issues by the end of September 2024.

In the mean time, please do not edit these incorrect records and/or relate other content, e.g. research outputs, to these incorrect records.

2. All other Project records, including internally or non-funded, that are manually created in Pure.

You may continue to create Project records manually in Pure. However, please do not create records for externally funded Projects as this will create duplicates when work on the integration with People & Money has been completed.
