Learn more about the University's research portal Edinburgh Research Explorer (ERE) is a hub for exploring the pioneering research that makes us a world-leading centre of excellence. It is the public-facing display of the content in Pure, the current research information system used by the University of Edinburgh. The ERE enables anyone with an internet connection to browse the full range of our research activities including outputs, projects and press coverage. In Spring of 2021, ERE was upgraded from a custom portal to a cloud portal. This improved the display of research information, making it more accessible with a clean design and enhanced functionality. The cloud portal continues to ensure our research remains discoverable and allows us to demonstrate its value and impact.
