A short 3-week programme of heritage-supported sessions for those who are living with bereavement. This short, 3-week support programme, is a recent addition to the Prescribe Culture Service and co-created to support those living with bereavement. In March this year we piloted a session with 12 students who are living with bereavement. The feedback from that session was overwhelmingly positive, suggesting the Centuries of Grieving sessions can be of benefit to those accessing grief counselling but also provides a helpful option for those who may not feel grief counselling or a grief group is quite suited to their need at this time.We hope to run our first Centuries of Grieving programme later this year, at the University’s Main Library in the Centre for Research Collections. This programme, like all Prescribe Culture support, welcomes both campus and local community members. If you would like to register interest in getting a notification and more information on the programme then please email PrescribeCulture@ed.ac.uk and we will ensure to send out more details.
