Description:

The University of Edinburgh has a limited 2 week trial to CABI’s Forestry Compendium; a unique global compilation of knowledge on forestry, ideal for evidence based practical decision making.  It has a comprehensive, worldwide coverage of tropical, subtropical, temperate and boreal tree species of major economic importance and lesser-know species of local importance. It also covers, in detail, many of the pests that damage these trees. Materials include: •    1,400 detailed datasheets on tree species •    900 detailed datasheets on forest pests •    Over 5,000 illustrations for easy identification and teaching •    Access to over 347,000 bibliographic records •    25,000+ full text articles •    A multilingual glossary including over 17,000 forestry terms
