Access information: Access on and off campus. Client software required.
  On campus: This resource can only be accessed via the Client Program. This program is available on all the open access lab computers across the University. From the Program list, click on “the electronic version of SKQS”. The Client Program will then be loaded. Click on the icon of this program in the task bar at the bottom of the page. When the program is opened, click on “IP Login”.
  Off campus/own PC: To access SKQS on your own laptop or desktop computer at home: Download and install the Client Program from here: http://us.subscriptionv3.skqs.com/skqs/download
  Once the client program is installed, open the program and select IP Login. Please ensure that you are within the University IP range either by using the university wireless network or the VPN connection.
  Currently, the database is not compatible with Apple operating systems, but it will work on Apple computers running Windows Parallels programs.  The Installation Guide available at http://www.eastview.com/Online/SikuDownload contains very important information regarding the technical requirements for user's pc, especially required language packages.
Description: Digital version of the definitive Wenyuange edition of Siku Quanshu, the great collection of Chinese classics compiled from 1773 to 1793 under Qianlong Emperor. It encompasses 3,503 titles or 79,337 volumes of works on all subjects divided into four broad categories.
