Description:

Aerial Digimap provides detailed aerial imagery data from Getmapping at various fixed scales. Most data is post-2011 with updates due each year.  Maps can be viewed, annotated and printed and data can be downloaded for use in GIS or CAD software.

Access information: Free access on and off-campus from US National Agricultural Library.
Description: Bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the US National Agricultural Library (NAL) and its co-operators. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines.

British Online Archives - BBC Listener Research Department, 1937-c.1950

Description:

This resource gives you access to the early research of the British Broadcasting Corporation's pioneering Listener Research Department (LRD) into wireless listening in Britain nationwide and at a regional level. It includes the entire available collection of weekly Audience Summaries, together with the weekly then daily Listening Barometers. Also included are the Audience Reaction Reports on specific programmes and Special Reports on particular themes or issues for the period, as well as some key policy documents produced by the LRD.

Description:

Description: Geology Digimap provides onshore and offshore mapping from the British Geological Survey, scales ranging from 1:625,000 to 1:50,000. Description: Produced by the American Geosciences Institute, this comprehensive geosciences database contains 3.4 million bibliographic records to the geosciences literature. Over 3,500 journals are reviewed for indexing in the GeoRef database as well as books, maps, government reports, conference papers, theses and dissertations.

Description: SPEOnePetro is a library of technical documents, conference proceedings and journal articles serving the oil and gas exploration and production industry.

Collection consists of:

  • UKMap a modern, highly detailed mapping database of Greater London. It offers users a flexible choice of integrated map features.
  • UKBuildings regularly updated to help you understand the age, structure, characteristics and use, of commercial, public and residential buildings across GB.
  • UKLand a national land information database providing a detailed breakdown of the use of land across the UK.
