Description:

Bibliographic index with abstracts of publications in statistics, probability, and related fields from approximately 160 core journals, 1,200 journals in related fields, and 11,000 books. Developed by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and the American Statistical Association.

Coverage: Bulk of publications published 1975-2017.

Datastream Advance

Access Information:

Access to Datastream is available from Refinitiv Eikon.  Eikon is limited to selected computers in the Business School.  An alternative source of company and financial data is Capital IQ (S&P).     To request access to Datastream, email the Business School Library (hub@business-school.ed.ac.uk).

Description:

Datastream provides key data sets from both developed and emerging markets - equities, market indices, company accounts, macroeconomics, bonds, foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities and derivatives.

Coverage: 1965 - present (varies).

IFORS Developing Countries OR Resources Website

Access information: Freely available.
Description: Publicly-available materials on the topic of Operations Research for Development. Also provides a venue for people who are working in the area to share their completed or in-process work.

Access information: Access on and off campus.
Description: Full-text journal archive service providing access to complete back runs of all the scholarly journals currently available in JSTOR. Recent volumes are excluded, usually the last 3-5 years, but each year a further year is added to the archive. Each title is listed in DiscoverEd. About 4-5% of Artstor images migrated into Jstor are not accessible outside the United States.

Description: American Mathematical Society's searchable database comprising Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications. Contains bibliographic records with abstracts (or reviews) of mathematics, statistics, computer science articles published, in more than 2,700 journals, book series and conference proceedings. Updated daily. Citation searching is possible.
Coverage: from 1940 to the present.

Description: Abstract and citation database containing both peer-reviewed research literature and quality web sources.  Contains over 19 million author profiles, 99,000 institutional profiles, 7000 publishers, 94 million records, 2.4 billion cited references, covers over 29,000 journals and 330,000 books from health, life, physical and social sciences and the humanities. Over 43 million patents from WIPO, EPO, USPTO, JPO & UK Intellectual Property Office: ipo.gov.uk.

Access information: Freely available.
Description: Database of information on mathematical software. Includes systematic linking of software packages with relevant mathematical publications (from ZentralblattMATH).
  Articles describe the background and technical details of a program or publications in which a piece of software is applied or used for research.

 Russian Science Citation Index is not presently included in the Web of Science.
Description:Citations and abstracts to millions of journal articles and conference proceedings from all subjects. Cited reference searching, Impact Factors, h-indexes and email alerts available.

Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH Open)

Access information: Freely available
Description: Includes bibliographic records, abstracts and reviews of articles published in all aspects of mathematics (pure and applied) and statistics. Covers more than 4,900 journals and serials as well as conference proceedings, collections of papers and 190,000 books. Includes Statistical Theory and Method Abstracts. Searching by formula is possible.
Coverage: Starts in 1826 and is complete from 1868 to the present by the integration of the “Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik” database.
