Open University (OU) staff and students can gain membership of University of Edinburgh Library through the SCONUL Access scheme or as members of the public. SCONUL Access As OU students are not issued with a Student ID card, you will be required to bring an email or letter from the OU confirming your status, along with your SCONUL Access approval email and photographic ID (passport/driving licence etc) when you come to register at the University of Edinburgh Library.
